HR Training & Compliance Programs

State-mandated harassment prevention, OSHA safety, leadership development, and industry-specific compliance training—delivered on your terms.

Training That Protects Your People and Your Business

HR World designs and delivers training programs that satisfy federal and state mandates, build stronger leaders, and reduce risk across every level of your organization. Whether you need a single compliance course or a full annual training calendar, we tailor content to your workforce, industry, and jurisdictions.

Core Compliance Trainings

The programs every employer should have running—aligned to the laws that govern your workforce.

Sexual Harassment Prevention

State-Mandated

Interactive, supervisor- and employee-specific training built to meet state requirements. California SB 1343 requires employers with five or more employees to provide two hours of training to supervisors and one hour to non-supervisors every two years. New York State mandates annual training for all employees. Connecticut, Illinois, Delaware, Maine, and Washington each have their own mandates and cadences. We align every course to the jurisdictions where your employees actually work.

  • Supervisor and non-supervisor tracks
  • Bystander intervention modules
  • Gender identity & expression, sexual orientation coverage
  • Attendance tracking & certificates

OSHA Workplace Safety

Federal

OSHA training requirements are matched to the specific work your employees perform. We deliver OSHA Outreach 10- and 30-hour programs, site-specific hazard training, and annual refreshers. Core topics include Hazard Communication (HazCom/GHS), Lockout/Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment, Bloodborne Pathogens, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, Emergency Action Plans, and Fire Prevention. Reference: OSHA Training Requirements Library.

  • Annual refresher scheduling

Workplace Violence Prevention

State-Mandated (CA)

California SB 553 requires nearly every California employer to maintain a written Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and train all employees on hazards, reporting, and response. We build the plan, deliver the training, and run annual reviews. Non-California employers benefit from the same framework as a risk-reduction best practice.

  • Written WVPP development
  • Hazard assessment & employee involvement
  • Incident log & investigation procedures
  • Active-threat response drills

EEO, ADA & FMLA for Managers

Federal

Supervisor-focused training on Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family & Medical Leave Act, pregnancy accommodation, and wage & hour obligations. Managers learn how to recognize protected activity, respond to accommodation requests, handle leave, and document decisions defensibly—reducing the most common sources of employment liability.

  • Interactive scenarios & decision trees
  • Interactive ADA accommodation process

Leadership & Manager Development

The single biggest predictor of employee engagement is the quality of the manager. We equip new, mid-level, and senior leaders with the skills they need to run accountable, motivated teams.
